A.W. "Sonny" Santorine, Sr. Scholarship Fund

Schedule Star/HighSchoolSports.net, in partnership with the DAANJ, has established the A.W. "Sonny" Santorine, Sr. Scholarship Fund.

The application for this scholarship can be found on this website under About Us in the top menu bar and Registration Forms.

The scholarship fund will provide two $500.00 scholarships, one to a male and one to a female student of an active member of the DAANJ. There will be an application process, due January 15th. The applications will be screened by the DAANJ Awards Sub-Committee, with notification to award winners' by February 1st of any given year.

Selection Criteria:

" Child of an active New Jersey Athletic Director who is a current member of the DAANJ.
" A senior male/female student in good standing at a New Jersey High School.
" Student will pursue a higher education degree at an accredited college or university.
" Student must have participated in the athletic program at their respective high school.
" Student must complete the Athletic/Academic profile as per application process.

Awards will be presented at the annual DAANJ Convention in March. The monetary awards will be sent directly to the student's college of attendance with a Certificate of Award presented to the recipient at the DAANJ Convention.
